Unlike fine steel wool, Scotch-Brite pads will not shred during use, rust after use, or leave fine metal splinters.

These ULF grade hand pads provide ultra-fine finishing action which performs as well as steel wool 00 grade for cleaning, finishing, graining, denibbing and de-fuzzing but without shredding, rusting or splintering. The load and heat-resistant non-woven web provide consistent finishing over the life of the pad.
